LEGAL PROGRAMMES

Creating opportunities, inspiring, educating and empowering aspiring law students.

Access to Law Pathways, our aim is to act as the bridging link to connect the legal profession and the local communities.

Annual Conferences – We host Annual Conferences to hear from various speakers and look back at what has been achieved throughout the year and set future goals.

Networking Events – We host Networking events to give the opportunity for students and participants to meet and talk with various legal professional and hear about their experience and journeys.

Legal Careers Event – We facilitate and provide legal career events, in order to provide students and participants the opportunity to meet legal professionals such as barristers, solicitors, paralegals, recruiters and many more. The events will provide opportunities for students and participants to be encouraged so that they can focus on their dreams. Students are encouraged to set their mind on what they would like to achieve, work hard, be determined and follow their passion in succeeding in a career in law. The focus should be that, although there are obstacles facing underprivileged backgrounds groups getting into the legal sector, people must remember that they can be successful in law despite the challenges and setbacks along the way.

Workshops – To facilitate workshops to discuss employment, social mobility, community, career development, employability skills. The programmes will provide Ex-Offenders workshops on employability and building better relationships. We are able to provide tailored workshops on specific requirements and request.

Practical Legal Skills – We provide tailored training to help our participants develop key professional skills and work experience. We train our student on legal writing, drafting, critical thinking, relationship-building, time keeping, organisation skills and skills of a lawyer.

Peer Mentoring – We undertake tailored programmes to allow peer mentoring between newly qualified and more senior lawyers. This programme will assist the newly qualified lawyers gain support, mentoring opportunity from more senior lawyers to help them develop their knowledge, experience and receive peer-support.

Black Tie Events and Awards Ball – To host Black Tie events to celebrate success and achievements for the students and programme facilitators.

Public & Motivational Talks – We host motivational and public talks which may involve stories from students, past students, lawyers and other professionals sharing their experiences and resilience. Speakers will have the opportunity to prepare and deliver inspirational and motivational talks to an audience.

High Schools & Sixth Form Programmes – We deliver programmes and legal training to schools, colleges, Sixth Form and Universities. The aim is to provide an overview of legal work and the justice system. Our programmes are designed to improve and ensure that students can build great careers no matter their backgrounds or limitation in their current situation as we are here to help guide them so they can that they can aim high and become the leaders of tomorrow, achieve their dreams and reach their full potential.

Career Development Mentoring Programmes – We provide career development programmes to the young people and adults within the community through 1:1 mentoring, coaching and workshops to explore opportunities on different professional careers, entrepreneurship and further education. The programme also provide support with the transitioning from education to employment.

Q&A Events – We host Questions and Answers sessions to participants to help provide them with tips and advice on self-development, career progression, creating opportunities and wellbeing.

Professionals Speaking Events – We hold professional speaking events to all participants, students and members. We host and invite speakers are from various profession and organisations.
